Starting from Delhi, we will cover a total distance of approximately 430 kilometers to reach Chopta. We will start our journey at night and will reach Chopta the next morning. On the way, we will pass through Haridwar, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag.
After such a long drive, you need a day to rest, rejuvenate, and acclimatize. Spend the day in Chopta Valley and experience why it is called mini Switzerland in India.
We will start early in the morning. Today, we have two destinations to cover - Tungnath and Chandrashila. And our target is to experience the sunrise from the sunrise point of Chandrashila. From the trek starting point at Chopta to Tungnath, the distance is 3.5 kilometers, and from there to Chandrashila is another 1.5 kilometers. After observing the sunrise and spending some time there, we will trek back to our camp at Chopta.
Today, our destination is Deoria Tal. First, we will drive to the trek starting point at Sari village. From Sari village, there will be a 3-kilometer trek to Deoria Tal. Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the lake and take lots of photographs. After that, we will trek back to Sari and start our return journey to Delhi.
